Emilius

Hi Karen,
Interesting composition to show two barn houses in different design, relaxing environment and peaceful life where people can built their barn houses in personality style, good sharpness, well done.

Hello Karen,
I like the composition here which makes a good juxtaposition between the barn and the old house, both of which seem to have been abandoned. There are some pleasing light and shadow contrasts around house and barn and the tones and textures are very well rendered. Perhaps you could think about cropping some of the foreground grass and also the sky.

A beautiful image that is full of colours. Great shot with perfect exposure and focus. Maybe the sky should be reduced a little bit in colur but nothign serious.
Best wishes,

It works absolutely fine for me, Karen.
Great color and definition, perfect angle, and excellent interplay between those different horizontal layers. These abandoned barns always provide for great atmospheric compositions, specially when the camera is in YOUR hands. TFS!
Have a good day, I'll be seeing ya.
Hugs,
Fulvio.

Hello Karen,
This picture sets my imagination in action. Who were the people that lived here long ago? Why was this place abandoned? I feel a slight pity when seeing these overgrown fields, the roof of the barn near collapsing. Photowise it's the same careful composition as always, but maybe there is a very slight green tone, or it's a bit too light... I'm not really sure.
Best wishes,
Gert

Bonjour Karen
j'aime beaucoup ce cliché montrant deux bâtiments d'une ferme abandonnée et bien entourée dans toute cette verdure, la photo est claire et nette.

Hi Karen,
I am always surprised to see all these old farms from your part of the world. I always considered this part being very new and modern... The colours are very good, but, at least on my screen, the sky gets a slightly greenish tone. I have seen that sometimes when I try get process a picture a bit too much. Maybe it is too much saturation?

The buildings are well placed in this scene. My only comment is that I think I would reduce the exposure a bit or add a little more contrast.

Good evening Karen, old the barns are very beautiful in their simplicity, the manifest dilapidation make all their charm of it and also makes that it s' integrate well in this landscape of any beauty, there are not obviously always the choice of the day nor of the hour to take a photograph, but it seems to me, that would be worth the sorrow to remake the same photograph, but in this period, when the sun is softer, but also when the autumnal colour one invades the landscape, sincerely ...............Bonsoir Karen, les vieille granges sont très belles dans leur simplicité, le délabrement manifeste en font tout leur charme et fait aussi qu’elle s'intègre bien dans ce paysage

Hi Karen
One point of view as we are accustomed, with these abandoned houses, of wood.
The textures are preserved, despite the time and inclement weather. Maybe the sky is very thin, but contrasts well with the green of vegetation.

Good shot of the house and barn nicely balanced in the frame. The sky looks more cyan than blue. It might be worth going into the hue and saturation palette, click on the drop down where it says master and click cyan. Then on the hue slider move it towards the right until the sky turns more blue.

Hi Karen,
The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the old houses. The picture is clear and sharp. The trees in the background are a natural frame tto the house. The light is enhancing the colors. have a nice day.

Hi Karen,
Lovely capture of this dorment old farmstead that in its day must have been full of life and industry.
The details here are exceptionally sharp to go along with strong colors.

Hello Karen
Charming old wooden barn and house for which I like its color tones and texture. A nice countryside view, only the blue sky looks a bit strange...
All the best
Marilyn
