Photographer’s Note

These are Lake O`Hara and to the right,Lake Schaffer as seen from Odaray Grandview Prospect (2535m),in Yoho National Park.
I think the view speaks for itself,so other explanations are not necessary...

Breathtaking image you have got in your gallery here. Lake O Hara is wonderful and this really proves it. Detail, lighting and colours are first rate. The lake is sits perfectly in its spot with the backdrop of mountains just towering over the lake.

Spectacular scenery, beautiful light and colors, particularly depiction of yellow is splendid. It's certainly the jewel of the Rockies. Perspective with three-dimensional feeling is also excellent. I'm surprised it doesn't have more comments despite such a great shot.

This one is a top notch image indeed, much better than your more recent post from there. The mountain panorama is absolutely gorgeous and you dealt very well with the exposure of the snow, which is often blown out in such circumstances. The golden larches create an excellent foreground, and the lake adds the needed point of interest to catch the eye. I have no adverse criticism whatsoever for this one, but wonder again why did you shoot at such small aperture. At f/8 to f/11 you would have gotten maximum sharpness with everything in focus.

I must have missed this, and I don't quite know how. This is exquisite. Beautiful light, beautiful colors, incredible subject and composition, and perfectly sharp without appearing oversharpened. Nice job fitting in O'Hara, Mary Lake, and Schaffer Lake as well. This is a beautiful image and I'm very jealous. :)

Amazing colours, light and clarity! As you said "the view speaks for itself"! Clear weather helped make a fantastic photo. Beautiful sky and terrific snowy peaks! The gradual colour change is impressive and catches my eye!

Your gallery has wonderful pictures, of all kinds, including two themes I really love: landscapes and architecture! Anyway, I chose another nature photograph because this one is truly breathtaking! I'd just wish it were bigger, but the visual impact of all that beauty is astonishing! Just perfect!
