Photographer’s Note
Cap-Tourmente is a gathering place for greater snow geese. Geese stop there when they migrate. In the spring, geese fly to the Artic, where they go to breed. In the fall, they go back to the United States. Some days in the beginning of October, up to 300 000 geese can be seen around Cap-Tourmente. Their total population is now nearly 1,000,000 up from 100,000 some decades ago. Snow geese eat rhizome, the green stuff you can see in the upper part of the picture. When they leave, only mud is left.

All different kind of textures in this landscape, I like it, different colours and also the tree is a good combination.
Good shot, Ludovic !

hello pascual & nice shot! the note is interesting.... reminds me of bonnaventure!
just one question: where did you take the shot from? it seems you were high above the coast, even above the tree and it makes the landscape a bit flat... but i don't know if it was possible to find a lower point of view ;)
ciao,
nat.
