Photographer’s Note
I thought this barn looked as though it was about to make a 'nose dive'.

bonjour
la photo est simple, mais j'adore ces granges ou "cabanes" comme la chanson au Canada
on a l'impression qu'elles vont s'écrouler mais ce n'est qu'un effet d'optique, car néanmoins elles sont là depuis des années
belle composition

Hello Karen,
It was either built by a drunken man or is indeed about to take a dive. Bet it's been like that for years! Another good capture with a well chosen perspective and excellent colours and clarity. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Karen,
I reckon this is the best of your barn series. I don't know what it is, but intuitively the balance of this photo looks very good ... everything just looks right. I like the crooked building because it creates an instant interest. Image and color quality is also very good ... I like the overall sharpness. Excellent work! Take care ... hope your brother has recovered by now. Tfs
Cheers,
Renier

Hello Karen!
Another fantastic shot in your gallery that I like really much.
Fantastic colors making a great contrast to each other and amazing light. The sharpness and clarity here is wonderful and you chose an excellent point of view. This picture is composed perfectly, too, the shack is on the exactly right (off-central) place, great! I also like your point of view and the feeling of depth a lot, very well done!!!
Have a nice day,
Jonas

Hi Karen,
well seen and a good capture of strong colours from a pleasant POV. The sharpness and clarity let the "tilt" really work.

Hi Karen,
A beautiful picture. I really like the colours and the simple composition here. Quite a special architecture, how old is this barn? The building technique looks like the common technique here in Scandinavia. My dictionary translates it to "dovetailed cabin", does that make sense?

hi Karen
I think the blue sky color tone really works for this capture to contrast nicely with roof, wooden wall and the grass green. How nice if you place a dog on the grass!

Hi Karen!
Fantastic barn, great composition and framing, brilliant colours! It seems ready to collapse and that makes it look even better! I hope it will "resist" for many more years! Congratulations!

It reminds me of one of the "Three Little Pigs" houses; the house of sticks, so I hope the Big Bad Wolf doesn't venture by. :D You have nice side lighting and your perspective view shows up the contrast, so good choice of framing.

Karen, this is also a good one but for the record I do not think it better than the previous post, the lines in the field, I think that one is great. Snow this winter will probably finish this guy off, huh? All the technicals here are good and you are light years improved.

Hi Karen,
This old wooden beauty is making a valiant stand against the harsh Great Plains winters and high winds.
The lush green grass and cloudless blue sky make a wonderful color contrast as the sky compliments the golden roof of this highly detailed old barn.

One of your best, Karen, but again you horizon is placed dangerously near the center line, however , again, you get away with it. the composition here appears a bit more thought out and the image looks good. Regards kevin

Karen Hi;
A wonderful architecture and daily life image. I call it architecture because it is rural architecture and should be protected.
Excellent POV, with sharpness of colors and details.
Congratulations, very well done.

Hi Karen
The picture is well balanced. Excellent composition with vivid and saturated colors as I like. The management of light is excellent too. I like the tilted barn with its brown roof. I feel the vasteness of that place when I look at left.
Best regards
Denis!
