Hi Doug
what a lovely shot - great reflections, brilliant colour, good composition. Gives the feeling of a relaxed summer's morning. As I look at it, I imagine getting out of my sleeping bag and getting ready for some serious hiking...oooh, I miss that!
Thanks for sharing

Very impressive, I really need to go west one day :)
Nice colors, and I really like view of that mountain on the left with highlighted pine trees.

A classic landscape that doesn't disappoint, especially when you have good morning light. It's difficult to do something original here, but you composed your picture very nicely. The Wenchemna ridge in the background right appears to have some issues with the fine detail and I wonder if this might be due to the sharpening process.

hi doug,
The colour and clarity is very good, allowing us to see everything so clearly that it's almost like being there. The reflection in particular adds so much to this scene. Well done

Hi Doug,
Wow, is this a stunning image or what??? Awesome perspective, perfect composition, and absolutly stunning details and colrs. I hope to get to Morrain Lake for the very first time maybe as early as next week. If I only have a couple of hours, what should I see for sure? Any help would be appreciated. TFS. Gerald

Hi Doug,
The reflection in the water of Moraine lake are assets to the composition. The point of view leads our eyes toward the Ten Peaks. The light has a marvellous effetc on the colors. A place to relax and enjoy nature. Have a nice day.

Hello Doug,
A very beautiful vista. Someday I would like to visit this national park. I just got myself the same Sigma lens, and to be honest looking at your postings was one of the deciding factors that made me buy it. As always, this is a topnotch photo. Best regards, Danilo

Hello Doug,
I grew up in the Rockies and these shots make me homesick.I was once a Parks naturalist and hiked and hiked around these mountains.
Wonderful capture here of Moraine Lake. The early morning sun is lovely. Ian Tyson sings about the rose glow of the light on early morning peaks.
Bravo!
TFS, Joni
