Prosciutto slice Photo

Photographer’s Note

What i found great about my new camera is the ability to freeze action up to 1/4000th of a second. I tried that feature in capturing an eye of a wave. I shooted over 300 waves trying to get one that would achieve what i had in mind. This one is my top one. I called it Prosciutto slice because the inside looks like it! (Except for the colour i must say).
Not much post-process here, cropping the bottom of the frame, then some levels and sharpening.

Pour la première fois j'ai en main une caméra permettant des expositions ultra-rapides de 1/4000 de seconde. J'ai décidé d'expérimenter ces possibilités en prenant plus de 300 photos de vagues, afin d'obtenir ce que je recherchais. Celle-ci est probablement ce qui se rapproche le plus de ce que j'avais en tête. Elle me fait penser à une tranche de Prosciutto! (sauf la couleur...)
Post-process: très peu, j'ai coupé le bas de l'image, levels et sharpening.

I know, sometimes you have to retake and retake the picture till you get the right one. You did good to retry and to finally end up with this one. It succeeded very well! Good sharpness; good (fast!) quality shot. Thanks for sharing.

Rien à dire c'est très réussi. Le mouvement et les éclats sont parfaitement saisis. La couleur s'approche effectivement de celle d'une tranche de proscuitto ( c'est bien observé ) Très joli !

Très bien réussie ... et pas facile à faire, j'en témoigne puisque j'ai essayé la même chose aux Iles la semaine dernière, sans succès, mais j'ai été moins patiente, j'ai arrêté après une cinquantaine d'essais.... Titre très approprié et hilarant..
