[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In British Columbia the trees were felled, chained together in log booms and transported by sea or river to the sawmills and paper mills. Many logs "got away" like this one and just lie on beaches.
Image enhanced a little with levels and hues, and sharpened slightly.

Beautiful. A great mix of shapes and textures. Well seen.

You captured quite a striking detail with amazing colours and clarity. The harmony of colours among the chain, the sand and the boat is very aesthetic. Congrats.

Hello John,

Very nice photo playing with the texture of the wood, the sand, the metal. The composition with invites us to follow the tracks of the chains is very good.

Yves.

Hi John - this photo combines texture and colour in a superb way e.g. the corroded & algae covered chain and the damp wood etc. Excellent capture that serves to demonstrate many aspects of photographic art.

John, j'aime beaucoup le rendu des matières notamment du fer et du bois. La composition est excellente avec la chaîne qui traverse le cliché.
Beau travail !
Jacques
