Hi George, i like the rainy weather here, cold people and a boy on the foreground i think in order to be hot himself he drinks hot tea.. and the lady and her great walking:) she looks nice with the reflection on the ground.. i like your framing too..

Oh man,
Hey George,
I love your notes and critiques but it's not really because they're helpful :o)))) This is kind of sad (your picture). I imagine she or he is begging for her (his) survival? Right? Or is she (he) a drug addict? In Belgium most of them are addicted to some products!
Cheers old friend
Marc

I really like this one,a great point of view.It definitely has
some kind of intimacy like we're there trying why not to enter
the thoughts of the character.Maybe the absence of the glance
and the slightly overexposed glass could be a bit annoying for
me but it's just my feeling.the overall tones and the high contrast I find quite attractive.I really like it!

Have we seen this face before ? On 2 occasions if I remember well, around Christmas...

C'est la vie ! Happening in every city, beautiful women (and others) walking and singing in rain,
+ other ones standing by, waiting and silencious - *invisible* to us ?

More and more of them, difficult to blame anyone, at least your photo reminds us... to smile !

I'm afraid this critique is not very helpful, ... OK, I admire the framing, colours are typical of your style and great for this occasion - the green marble and the green jacket... No, what I want to write is that your photos (and your "useful" notes) make us think, that's the best !
Have a great weekend,
Cath.

It is amazing George how you captured the city's atmosphere...the city's rhythm...
Not only on the wet pavement and on the gray walls...
Most of all on people's eyes...
I admire you for this...

Enjoy your weekend friend,
Thomas

Hey George,
X crossed legs, are these the streets of Toronto or a modern catwalk...hopefully for you that last so you had an excellent view ;-)
Don't tell me she put those hips so high for you, that simply can't be true ;-)
A smile for her, a warm cup of coffee for the guy in front, it seems he really needs it....while the catwalk lady....oh well, she is just passing by.
A great one George, i like it.
Take care, Henk

Dear George,

Rhythm of life, as it comes... and goes...
A look at the world in different proportions where as always there's the difference of life's many moods...
Is the lady the important ? Is the boy the important?
We have to realise ... and what do we find in end? I admire your visions that really SHOUT at the world strong...

Admirations,

jp

Fantastycznie uchwycona scenka uliczna, prawdziwe street photo.

Yes. Ya. Oui. Da. Sė'. Oh, SI', George! This is a wonderful photo! You had the clever ability to catch and stop a very special image. In there I can see many and many things. Normal life, indifference, solitude, a lot of poverty and a great, great, need of human help. And, maybe, just a need of love. A lot of love! Bravo, bravo, bravo George. You are a great! Anna Paola

Indeed, a remarkably good slice of street life. Imo, this is one of your best that I have seen so far.
regards,
Cristian

yeah, george, a nice "Do Wah Diddy Diddy" picture (and character, especially with those high heels on a rainy day). but what's that!??? the foreground 'object'... oh well, nice contrasts, DOF, POV, converging perspective defined by the bloody nose, the cup and do wah diddy diddy heels... ;))

Hi George,

Pleasantly humane!! Wonderfully honest street photography.
Not entirely sure about the tea drinking though, more like begging with a cup in his hand. Then again, let's be positive and assume it's tea. Or coffee.

Greetings!
Dennis

X marks the spot. That is some walk. Might have been that coffee drinker in an alternative universe. Or maybe the walker will fall off her stilettos and end up looking just like the coffee drinker! -Hugh

your work with grains is so very much elegant and unique!
love when you aim the cam to people, fearlessly, even under the rain...

Some people walk their day to day business in the rain whilst others haunt the places where it never rains - any city - anywhere - but somehow Bloor Street stands out in all its individuality because of your take on it - another great relationship across the frame - but it is so much more than that - it's the relationship to someone else's life that cannot be escaped ..................
