Hi Dan,
I do. Very nice how you controlled the light. Had to get used to the slightly over-exposed spot in the water to the lower right, but it's not taking too much attention. I might have adjusted a slight bit there, but next to that a very pleasant composition. Feels very natural and lots of detail in the trees, mountain further away and the water. Nice.
Greetings,
Dennis

Hi Daniel,
I do too...this shot deserves more attention than it has received. Emerald lake is a stunning place and your capture is a good representation. Nice colors and good details. Well seen and TFS. Gerald

Hi Dan
I have taken a few from here and it's always a difficult lighting situation. The sky and water in this case always get blown out in order to expose the mountains. Great composition with the two strong diagonal lines from the mountain slopes.

Hi Dan,
I really do like it!About Gerald`s remark: since when the quality of the photo has anything to do with the attention received?:(
In my opinion, this is a highly technical photo,I should say a professional one.
Unfortunately the light wasn`t so good but despite that Dan has managed to get the most of the photo.
Dan,if you want attention write critiques!:)Good ones and give smileys!
What I would have done about this photo? I would have taken at least two shots and use HDR to recover the highlights or at least a ND grad filter.
Cheers:)

Hi Dan,
A shot with good depth to it, and the canoeists make the composition add a nice sense of scale. Looks like you had some challenging light to work with but I think its been exposed as best as it could have been. Even to the naked eye the water is as bright as the sun when the angle is right. The over exposed spots just give you the sense that you are around the dark side of the mountain, which is fine to me.
Great shot!

Hello Dan. I see you have quite the selection of BC scenery due to share from your back pocket. This one is really nice and I am glad you had the chance to enjoy this place. Not to be critical nor ignoring the fact that you have a flair for noticing certain elements in my photos where exposure and blown highlights come into question. I am wondering Dan about the water here in the lower right side. It seems to be the same color as the outer frame. Sometimes these highlight areas do become a challenge just as you mentioned in some of my photos. Overall though I really do like this shot of yours. I think it all came together nicely including your unconventional method of signing your name in this frame. Very nice Dan..very nice...

Fabulous shot. The exposure is incredible here, the colors are very nice, and the canoers give a bit of perspective as to how huge those mountains are. Great job.

A very peacefull atmosphere, also due to the canoeists paddling in these calm waters.
