Hi Gerald,
We both posted fields of flowers today, how nice ;-) Yours shows a nice detail with that bicycle which makes a very moody. Is it resting against a tripod?
Those yellow tulips have a great contrast the their purple family members on the ground. A great setup here with strong colours, i like it.

The composition is perfect. I think a softer light (with a bright but cloudy sky) was better to show the details of the subject and the colors of the field, but this is also fine.

Hi, Gerald. The bicycle is very well placed in the composition creating a diagonal line in the foreground and depth in the image. There are very nice colours in the field and the yellow tulips contrast well with them. A nice splash of colour.

To me this looks like another one of those senseless bicycling tragedies where the inattentive rider slams into an errant tulip petal, falls off, and is forever lost in the ocean of tulip fields.

It is my understanding that happens a lot up your way.

Gerald,
the composition with the bike, its basket and the flower in it is absolutely great! Although, this time I'm sure about the oversharpening. I can see the artifacts at least on the ground in the foreground. Look attentive and you will see all the little horizontal and vertical lines that you start seeing when the sharpening is to much.

I was yesterday also on tulips hunt, but in the Netherlands.
Very nice idea for the bicycle to use as decoration or as eye catcher to the tulip fields.

Some pretty interesting waves in that field, and the colors are great. I really like that bicycle placed so close upfront, it provides outstanding depth of field.

This scene is more typical of Europe. I like the colourful background and the good clarity of the image. I think you had a good idea to include the bike as it make the image more interesting. I never knew this place existed in Canada but I imagine is a delight to see at this time of the year. Thanks Gerald.

Great image with your composition and the colours. The bike adds another aspect to the field. I went there three times and missed that sunny day!

This old one speed bicycle with its wicker basket of yellow flowers beckons to a simpler time when nature seem indestructible. I love the contrast between the yellow and purple flowers. Excellent depth to this very well balanced image.
