Photographer’s Note

After breakfast we went to see the baie-de-chaleur view from the Mont-Saint-Joseph at 555 meters. About 30 km of trails from easy to medium goes from the beach to the top of the mountain.
Carleton was first visited by Jaques Cartier (French explorer)who coming from the Atantic to the St.Laurence river taught that the river yould cross the continent being the so looked passage to India, the year was 1534. At the time the region was inhabited by a group of Micmacs which called the region Tracadigash, "place of Herons".

Flavia, as I pointed out in my previous critique the straightening of the horizon is an important detail. Here things are different again. I like the distortion a lot, it gives the impression that you were able to capture the earth' curvature and that looks good! At least on this shot. I know, that makes it difficult and proofs that there are no rules set in stone ... hehehe!

Não me canso de olhar as belas paisagens canadenses. Acabo de postar uma velha foto do mesmo St.Laurent e é impressionante quantos livros de belas fotos este rio renderia. Esta bela vista aqui eu não conhecia. É bem alta e a profundidade é ótima. Bela foto, Flávia!

Hello Flavia -

This is a nice image but I feel the horizon is a distraction. I see you were using the 18 mm lens here so there will be some slight curvature of the earth present on the horizon but the curve should be seen on both sides of the horizon and not on only one side as it is here. The center of the horizon needs to leveled.
