Photographer’s Note
The Tourny fountain was a gift from the Simmons stores to the city of Québec, in honor of the 400th anniversary of the old capital. Made of Bronze and dating from the second half of the 19th century, she ornated the Tourny alleys with it's 5 sisters in the city of Bordeaux, France, up until the 1960s and was accumulating dust ever since. Honestly, it is a heck of a lot better than the uninspiring flower patch that was up until then in front of the Parliament of the Province of Quebec, especially at night!
We're still waiting for the thawing that'll allow for the water to be turned on this year though...

Bonjour Bruno
Superbe travail.

Thawing? LOL! Your country is really fantastic, but quite cold, brr...
Very nice composition, good exposure and really good job on noise and sharpness, given the P&S camera. Excellent chice of shutter speed. Pity the exif data aren't available.

Salut Bruno

terrific nightshot! :-) the "blue" fountain is awesome, excellent use of the long exposure creating the wonderful flowing effect
and brings out the light perfectly. the pretty parliament building in the back deserves a photo of its own.
well done & best wishes, thor.

Hello Dark brown, I like the game of framings, the source and the building of the fund as they contrast in forms and colors, congratulations. A nice night image of Quebec.
A greeting and thanks for your visit.

Nicely captured. On a separate note. Though i stay near to parliament, never saw this colorful fountain. Guess it's new.
