La nuit, toute chose prend sa forme et son vrai aspect. De même qu'on ne distingue que la nuit les étoiles du ciel, on aperçoit alors sur la terre bien des choses qu'on ne voit pas le jour.

Anotehr great early morning shot glistening empty parking lot gathering all the reflections of the last of the artifical lights. The blue tint to the snow is magaical.

hello Ziggy,
interesting how something as nasty as the freezing rain can look so beautiful, the light and colour cast on the snow make the scene looks like something from fairy tales, althought I wouldn't want to drive or even walk those dangerously slippery streets. as to the composition of the photo, I think I'd chose a tigther crop focusing more on the snow and light reflections, I find the wide area a bit distracting. but that'a minor point, this is very well seen and presented :)

The green lights are comming from mercury town lights, they give a better lights than sodium yellow lights.
But the mixing here is very interesting.
The weather is more warm in France because we have the influence of the Gulf Stream.
