Photographer’s Note
Close to midday - and not the best time to photograph Moraine Lake. But when you're on a 10 minute stopover during a day's bus touring, you take what you can get at this magic place. I would've dearly loved to have joined those folks down on the rocks, and stayed until the late afternoon/early evening, when I'm sure the lighting would've been much softer. Ah well - there's always next time!
From a RAW image, with post processing in PS3, filter effects using the Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0 plug-in.

Hi Jeff,
Excellent work. Everything is wonderfully composed. The polarizer has worked great and the sky is nice and even. I really like the people included for scale and to make me feel as if I were there.
Cheers!

Hello Jeff,
The lake is spectacular at the deep of mountains. Clever way using vertical form while adding trees and making your frame more rich. Visitors adds life and helps to scale your excellently captured scene correctly. Great works, congratulations.

Les Rocheuses comme elles nous font tous rêver, des lacs d'eau turquoise, de gigantesques forêts de conifères et ces sommets rocheux enneigés...le bonheur quoi!
