Photographer’s Note

This capture of lonely barn I took before 7 am. I turned from Highway and I stopped on the country road near parking lot. I took only a few pictures because windchill was -24.The barn is standing on property of Peel Board of Education.

Wonderful colours. I think the barn could have used a little dodging to lighten it up a bit. It certainly conveys the feeling of a -24 morning.

Hello Ziggy! Minus 24 ... oh well I am glad you have added some warm color to make things a little more comfortable for us :) I like the lights in the back and the remaining light of the day before it all goes away. I find the red on the snow really attractive and sometimes the light makes this color play so it actually comes very natural to me. Very nice mood of a cold night. Excellent! Barbara.
