Photographer’s Note
The Canadian winter can be harsh at times and for some days, you just wish you could be lying on a beach somewhere in the Carribians. But there are days when you are reminded that nature is always beautiful... anywhere.

Great, great !
I don't know exactly what DOF is it but, sure, you used it well in this pic ;o)
(If I don't understand at all the DOF, thanks to give a lesson)

I love the DOF in this shot...Also the composition and colors are great! And as the temperature in Athens today is around 40C this shot is very helpful to wake memories from my canadian winters ;-)

Very effective and overall very good shot. I do like the shallow DOF very much, and I like what you have photographed as well. My only thinking is that there is just too much in the background. for me, this would be more appealing if there were only a few twigs/branches in the background against the beautiful blue sky you caught. Nice work.

Very nice shot. The DOF is perfect - and I like the branches in the background, they keep it from being simple blue. I like the blue on the left though, keeping it from being symmetrical. Nice photo.

Very good, agree for colors and DOF.
i'm not a winter kind of man and this might sound a ridiculous question but...are you sure it's not upside down?
Anyway, tried to rotate it, and I like it best ...vertical leaves on the upper part, which is indeed not the natural way. So, top or bottom, who cares?
