Photographer’s Note
On one of many trips to Canada and its provinces I was luckey enough to visit Lac La Ronge in Saskatchewan. At this latitude the sun stays high even late into the evening. The shot was taken around 11:00 pm and while the moon is above the horizon sunlight is still strong enough to illuminate with an eerie blue.
The floatplane, a de Haviland Beaver, is one of the principle means of transportation. And, the fishing is excellent.
