Hi Robert!
Very unusual,a pink roof for a church.
You placed it perfect and I like how it is surrounded by the autumnal vegetation.The image has a great depth with the river leading the eyes to the horizon.

I see your back in your native Quebec with this stunning capture of the charming church with its vivid pink roof that contrast so well with the intricate old stone work. The photo displays great depth from the background river returning to the autumn colors and the beautiful little church and its tiny graveyard. Every element in this stunning image is perfectly placed.

Lovely colors and an excellent POV, enhanced by the (again) unusual format you chose for this picture.
Excellent sharpness too. I mean, all those leaves account for quite a lot of pixels, and all we got on TE is a max of 200, so... you done a great job in all possible respects.

The red does stand out, even against the brilliant fall colours. Superb depth with the blue waters of the lake in the BG. What a place for a church! Lovely picture!

I'm tempted to say Canada is the country of autumn, that is in the best sense of the term since it is hard to find better colours anywhere...

Merveilleux TE qui nous fait vivre les saisons en direct du monde entier.
La saison qui me fait le plus rêver, c'est bien l'été indien de l'est américain!
Quant à votre photo, elle est superbe, avec ce toit rose qui se marie si bien avec le rouge des feuilles, et les contrastes sont saisissants avec le bleu de la rivière et les couleurs plus claires de la pierre et des boiseries!
Quel meveilleux endroit pour aller pratiquer son culte ou tout simplemant méditer.

What a lovely rustic landscape, Robert. Seen and shown like a fine painting. I love the texture, the blend of colors, the river in the background. The stone texture of the church and the reds in roof and steeple complement its home quite well. Beautiful.

A pink aluminum roof--common in BC. I love the pink bell tower.
A very elegant photo with the textures of the vegetation and the eye being led to the river and beyond. Depth of field is lovely.

This is a great fall view! Your composition and POV are fine showing the little stone church from a nice angle which gives the shot nice depth and direction. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and detail.
