Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken in the Old Montreal, Place Jacques-Cartier one hour before sunset, I noticed, probably the only person bored that night, and waiting to give a ride to someone, whereas everyone were enjoying all the activities of this very popular place, we can see on the right, part of Montreal City Hall.

great work here, I especially like the woman in the bike drawn cart, she looks very upset and wants to get going.

Very nice,very well seen,her pose with a hand under his head,in good timing you captured it,good note,too.
there was very busy,you show it very nice,it's a great shot in daily life that you posted here,the colors are real & well contrasted,also I like the sky with this clouds.a fine perspective you creat,too.

Intéressante prise de vue Pierre, pleine de naturel. J'aime beaucoup la personne dans le taxi-vélo. Au premier abord, elle semble attendre son chauffeur avec impatience, mais je m'aperçois que c'est elle "le chauffeur" s'impatientant également d'attendre le client.
Très originale prise de vue Pierre.

Composition here is marvelous. The yellow and black cab really sticks out and is in a strong position. I love the contrasts between the driver and the rest of the people. Super street scene.

Pierre très belle vue d'ensemble sur cette place, le mouvement de la foule, les expressions des personnes tout est très bien détaillé. Bonne prise , bien vue.

Nice time of day and clouds to contrast the brightly colored crowds below. Do the vendors come all the time to set up their tents here? This looks very much like a scene from the movie presented by the Canadian pavillion at Epcot Center in Florida. It was a scene that I always thought was so interesting, due to the lovely buildings and care-free crowds. Thank you for your note. (tech. - Is this slightly tilted left?)

Fine capture, Pierre, I like all this busy colourfulness against the darkening sky. The bike taxi pedaleuse and her red hair (perfect combi with the yellow taxi) really stand out. Due to the row of trees and the statue there's also fine depth in your pic. Very fine job, bravo.

Very nice exapmle of streetlife in Canada - seams this bicycle taxis can be found many places around the world - too bad theres no work for her :-(

Grace a TE je commence a connaitre un peut le Canada sans y avoir mis les pieds ;-)).
Ici le temp ne vous a pas aidé Pierre la luminosité est faible et vous avez quand meme reussi a faire une image interessante sur le point de vu de la presentation de la place avec autant de vie.
Le velo-transport ici est une sorte de taxi je pense non?.

le ciel est peu gris mais l'image est bonne , j'aime l'ambiance de l'endroit avec tout ce monde ,j'imagine la place avec un beau ciel bleu , beau cadrage .
