Photographer’s Note

This was my first time at a soccer game, this sport is becoming very popular in the Province of Quebec and I really like what I've seen. For 6-7 years old boys, they were playing very hard.... the weather was perfect for a very nice evening.

This will be my second contribution for the
summer of '04 hunt:

Le point de vue bas est excellent, il rend la photo encore plus dynamique. Excellente netteté, bien que j'aurais aimé une PDC un peu plus courte pour ce genre de cliché. Ceci dit c'est très bien pris, la lignée d'enfants courant vers la caméra donne un effet très vivant et dynamique, et la détermination que l'on peut lire sur le visage de deux d'entre eux est vraiment intéressante. Bravo pour cette très bonne photo Pierre !

Nice shot Pierre of the little guys giving it all. Your low shooting angle is very effective and I like how you captured their enthusiasm going after the ball. The colors are great, too. It looks though as if they are running right at you and you had to urgently leave immediately after you captured this :o)

This photo remind me my childhood when I played soccer. I like everything in this photo, specially faces of the boys.

Salut Pierre,
j'aime bien l'expression sur le visage des garçons et plus spécifiquement celui en blanc qui est tout près du ballon et, l'autre, en rouge, qui est plus à gauche dans l'image. On se croirait à la dernière minute d'un match éliminatoire sans lendemain à l'Euro 2004 .Très belle scène.

Les petits bonhommes sont vraiment ''dedans''.

Ce que j'aime bien sur cette image c'est l'angle choisi qui nous met a la meme hauteur des petites tetes blondes cela nous donne une impression de participer a la scene.
BOn coup d'oeil Pierre j'aime bien l'idée.

Excellente contribution effectivement. L'angle de vue est particulièrement approprié aux sujets visés. Il en ressort un dynamisme très bien capturé. Bravo Pierre !

Deux très bonnes photographies Pierre. Il y a de la vie dans cette prise de vue. Les couleurs sont excellentes. Une superbe réussite.

Très bonne idée de se mettre au niveau des enfants et de face. Ainsi on sent l'action, l'image est dynamique. J'aime beaucoup.

Tout a déjà été dit par les autres critiques sur cette photo: dynamique de l'action, expression intense des garçons qui sont à fond dans le jeu, bon choix de la prise de vue à la hauteur des enfants. C'est réussi.

All after the balloon has this age there, the scene is powerful one feels the rage to overcome in the glances, a very good composition.

I like the low angle you chose. It makes me a participant to this game. Wonderful expressions. I like hat bit of motion blur too.

It's nostalgic for me!!!it reminds me my childish time,...in a best way captured,great POV,and all things are fine here,nicely composed and I like it very much,Pierre!
