Photographer’s Note
Highland Yacht Club, Scarborough Bluffs, Lake Ontario.
In 2004 I was lucky to join a boat race on Lake Ontario with the boat Lilvil 2 steered by captain Villy.
The view of the Toronto skyline with the all dominating CN Tower is quite a sight from the lake.
Captain Villy died earlier this year. This place was his life and I can understand why. Just a few minutes from the roaring city life, it's possible to get away from it all and find peace in beautiful surroundings with access to the mighty Lake Ontario.
It was good to see the place again, three years later.
The picture is dedicated to Villy and it's taken where he had his boat tied up.
Thanks...
***IN MEMORY OF CAPTAIN VILLY***
