Photographer’s Note
A boathouse on Meech Lake in Gatineau Provincial Park in Quebec. The park itself is only a few minutes drive north of Ottawa, and it's where many of the capital's residents go when they want to escape hectic city life. Along Meech Lake itself are many vacation homes and permanent residences as well.
The lake came to particular prominence in 1987 as the site of the Meech Lake Accord, which was a set of amendments to the Canadian Constitution. Then Prime Minister Brian Mulroney met with the premiers from each province, and they drafted a set of changes to the constitution. One of the modifications was recognition of the province of Quebec as a distinct society. The accord ultimately unraveled, and the failure contributed to sentiments of succession in Quebec.

Hi Rob,
I love this landscape photo very much. I did a little workshop for you on this photo to reduce the noise level and increase the contrast a little. Hope you like it.
Thanks for sharing

Bonjour Rob, beau cliché automnal de cette magnifique région du Québec, belle composition ou tu as marié l'ondulation de l'eau avec les couleurs des arbres et un léger reflet dans l'eau. :)
Salutations
