Photographer's Note

Quebec City looking south toward Haute-Ville (Upper Town). This photo was taken from the Astral restaurant, which gives a 360 degree view of the city as it rotates.

Steeped in history, Quebec City is the only fortified North American city north of Mexico. The fort itself envelops Vieux-Quebec (Old Town), which is one of the only places on the continent with a distinct European feel. The city was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985.

This is a scan of a negative, and it's a bit grainy, but I decided not to remove it.
