This is actually my first post of my home country: Canada. More specifically, my city: Toronto.
For the past two years I've been doing mostly traveling and working. Last year I traveled to India and Nepal, only to find out when I was there I had gotten a job in Japan. I returned to Toronto for 12 days only before leaving for Japan for the year. This was one photo I was able to take from the restaurant Panorama. My last dinner in Canada for awhile was taken with this view. And I was rewarded with nice soft lighting blanketing the city.
The CN Tower is the most dominating feature of the city (the needle-like tower on the right).
Toronto may not be the most gorgeous city, but it has its moments. It is more a city to live in and enjoy than as a tourist (in my opinion).
As I post this from Japan, maybe I am a bit homesick...

Lovely view to the city. Comparing the buildings to the right that all got that warm orange glow and those in the shade on the left side, it is obvious that the low sunlight can make such a magic.
I especially like rich shapes and textures of these well lit buildings.

Nice perspective and good clarity!

Excellent view of the city. The contrast between the buildings bathed in the low warm light and those cast in shadow is very effective. Well done.....

A magnificent sight of the city from this restaurant. It must be very agreeable to have dinner here up. You took the photo in a good moment of light, which was giving a few very warm tones to the buildings, while also it was generating a few beautiful shades.
I like this architecture, and how the tower is outlined finely to the right of the picture.
A beautiful photo.

The warm colors of sunset and the sharpness makes this shot a great one of downtown Toronto. At the right place at the right time.

Exquisite lighting particularly as the golden glow hits the center front building. You have this rich color and the composition has all over nice balance, in an arching manner. I hail from western NYS and recall fun visits and memories of Toronto.

The low light and the unique pov (I've never seen a photo from this angle before) makes an impression, including the lake the CN tower and the skyline. I will be going to that neighbourhood in October (not sure about Toronto yet), but if I do, I will certainly check out this restaurant
