Photographer’s Note

Friday, while driving home from Port Alberni, I pass the Cameron River where it flows alongside highway #4.
As the snowpack, heavy after a cool spring season, melts in the balmy weather, the river rises and flows more quickly.
When a slow shutter is employed, the water appears cottony as the droplets are recorded as arcing lines.
I like this image for the contrasting textures of the boulder and water.
