Photographer’s Note

This was a couple people at a fire jumping around it, so i decided it might be cool to take a picture without the flash, and it turned out pretty cool, hope you enjoy!

A great one, Brett--I like how both the fire and the people make really strong dynamic diagonals, no passive horizontals here! It could be sharper, but it doesn't detract in this context of motion and fury. Nice framing, too. Regards, Ken.

Hi Brett,
A powerful image which I guessed was some firemen fighting a fire....not guys dancing and enjoying themselves...but hy, its still full of action and movement.

Nice work, Brett. The silhouettes against the crackling fire are nicely defined. The movement of the swirling flames and the sparks make it an exciting picture. I really like it. Regards, Irmgard

What the party! They seem to be firemen at work. There's nothing cool playng with the fire...whatever it is a good photo. regards boy.

Hi Brett,
A very impacting image!
I like so much all the dramatism it have, and the fact we only see silhouettes, not faces.
The power of the fire, the wind, and your POV makes of this picture a reamrkable one.
A great idea and better result not to fire the flash.

Nice! It looks like devils are having a party in hell. All these lines by flying sparks and a bit moved silhouettes make up a great pic.

Yo Brett!

I really like the vibrant display here. The silhouette's of the men give it a real primal feeling with the fire illuminating their form. I think the composition is well framed and like how you haven't cut too much out.
