Celebrating Spring Photo

Photographer’s Note

In this photo, I wanted to capture a jogger enjoying his/her walk. So I pretty much cropped all other iformation like the archietcture of the bridge, head of the person jogging (It could be anyone), view from the river which was pretty sweet.

I took this photo on my favourite bridge in Ottawa (Alexandra Bridge, Connecting Quebec with Ontario). You can also see that Spring is here and we are shedding all those layers of clothes. Personally I like all seasons, but I like the fact that summers are warm :D

One thing I really like about the city I live in is the bike/jogging paths in it. Many people live in the suburbs and commute by cars, but I have always made it a point to live close to the bike paths. To have a look at how it was for me to bike from work to home yesterday. Okay people ... I am off to soem bicycling now ... it is a fantastically warm and sunny day and I don't want to waste it in front of this idiot box. ;)

Hey there, I'm glad to see you here in such a short time after the dangerous monkey. I sure don't want to live in a freezing town, but I really envy the bike/jogging paths you talk about. We don't have that culture and that's a pitty. Now we see people getting a bit into outdoors sports but there isn't enough proper infraestrutures. Sometimes I'll go by bike to my job as well, but I have to use a very narrow and noisy sidewalk in most of the way.
This is a strong perspective and I love that, with a nice use of the shallow dof - the aperture you should have used in the monkey :-) I like your intentions - the image is simple as you wanted and effective. Just follow the white line and enjoy the warmer (I should say less colder) temperatures of Spring. Nice muscles working out on those legs - now, I'm ready to see her face :)))

p.s.- loved your Spring Set with the way along the lake. I really miss that in Lisbon. The tulips are allways stunning, but I choose the couple of ducks with the very low POV - it's a funny one, :)
