Looking into the heart of the Rockie Mountains , the majestic peaks surrounding Lake Louise frame this world famous view.
The turquoise watres caused by glacial sediment releflect the deep cobalt skies and the distant snows of the Victoria Glacier seem to provide a respite from the blistering heat of the water level.
No artificial additives other than noise reduction via Neatimage...it really was those colours. |

Hi Chris,
Very beautiful shot. I love the composition here. The little boat in the lake really gives us perspective of the size of the mountains, well done. The turquoise color of the water is very amazing. I just wish the shot could be bigger and higher quality, but very nice capture, thanks for sharing!

I love both the composition as the colors: turquoise water, deep blue sky, dark green wood and white snow.
HI Chris!
Wow, very beautiful shades for blue. Lovely composition, and the way the light is hitting it is just amazing. Great job with the exposure. Thanks for sharing!
A very lovely and tranquilizing photo. The colors are very lively.
But had to agree with mfonda about the size of the shot.
Nicely done and tfs
