[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The picture of the Beach Motel will be my first in a series of photographs taken from a strip of motels at Lakeshore Blvd. in Toronto.

Why are these of interest? Well, they are old, they are unique, they stick out in a region where land is becoming more and more valuable and condos are sprouting everywhere. These motels are at the lakeshore, with nice views of Toronto and the lake right behind them. They look like they've been around since the 50's, it's a wonder they're still around.

They're quite close to downtown, about a 10-15 minute drive from the reception.

Hi,
Nice urban photo here, good exposure with a neat tonal range, well done

Vince

I love these old hotels. They are nostalgia materialized. Taken at night, like this, glowing and empty, they seem apparitions from another time. Nice one. -Hugh
