Photographer’s Note

Another shot from December's trip back home to BC (just noticing this is my 100th shot of Canada here on TE). This is 'Kennedy River' flowing South East to Vancouver Islands Largest Lake 'Kennedy Lake'.

The lake is part of the ancestral lands of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation, and is named for the last governor of the Colony of Vancouver Island, Sir Arthur Kennedy.

This is a favorite stop en-route from my home town of Port Alberni to Vancouver Islands West Coast.

I hope you like the shot,
- Dan

Thanks to my friend Paul Enns (PJE) for his help in finding the name of the mountain in the background. It's Mt. Maitland.
