Photographer’s Note
Finn Slough is a tiny community south of Vancouver, with some question to the legality of its existance. It is also the most interesting and colourful community in the area. This is one of the two main "streets" in the community, and beyond this point they have lost patience with people strolling by their homes.
There has been a lot of development very close to here, and I think there will be difficulties for this community to stay as it is.

Hi Andrew,
It's entirely proper to present this image in black and white, although it sounds like a most 'colorful' group. Is it a commune of some type.
There was a group that committed mass suicide during the visit of the comet 'Hale-Bopp' exactly 10 years. It seems that they believed a space ship was trailing the comet, hidden in its tail, and they were all going on it.
Very good composition of a not-so inviting place.
