Moraine Lake Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is another shot from Moraine Lake. I was looking for a bit different style of photo and since these chipmunks are really common and tame (and always hungry!) I decided to use them. Taken if they were to cooperate with me.

With some help of peanuts I was able to shoot this chipmunk just in the right place. It's shot with wide angle lens and very close - probably it was not more than 30 cm from my lens.

Excellent this picture, even if I find it a bit too much contrasted and so seems fairly unreal but otherwise I like it.

A good picture to have a look at the end of a hard workind day...

Hi Marko,
A very good compo with the chipmunk on the foreground and the Moraine lake and the mountains in the back. You choose a very good POV with the trees on the right.
I really like how you lured the chipmonk into the photo and how close you got to it. It didn't seem to be frightened by you or the peanuts were just too good to be true.

This is a very unique photo. This is a great closeup of the chipmunk. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF.
