Will THIS ever end ?
Men of the world….Unite !!!
Don't let THEM do it to us over and over again !

My series of deep political, religious and social issues continues. Sometimes - the depth of my thoughts scares even myself. (:D

Have a most wonderful weekend, dear folks.
Don't be lazy in spending those green macacas... Everywhere !!!

Peeked through the naked bushes in front of a church.

The cheat of Eve was the first political scandal of the known (or unknown) humanity. Government collapsed and the governor fled away in tremor. Thus was the corrupt society of humans evolved.

Don't take the apple man. It will devastate your fate :(

Oh how I've missed your posts George.
I have never laughed so hard in my life.
Fantastic photo, with an even more fantastic note. I really don't know how you do it. You have a gift my friend.
Now I must go.. I think I hear my girlfriend calling.

No tak ! Pozdrawiam mimo to ciepło.

Mocno i wiosennie pozdrawiam.

Well, he's got a chance this time. He's not reaching out for it. He's got the dark glasses on, protecting him from her golden-haired charms and the glowing fruit she tempts him with. Could it be different this time? A whole new story? A new paradigm. An untasted fruit? Just imagine. What hope you've given us, George. -Hugh

(On second thought, what am I talking about? Look at that guy. He's not going to last 5 seconds.)

Hello George,
Very nice idea ! Technically perfect and good compo.

Hi George!!! Fantastic creation, photo and note both.
I am afraid it's way to late. Adam buggered it up for us long ago!
Have a good weekend George
Chris

Good heavens!!!! George!
--------------------------------------
Just a simple apple... and the World is not the same anymore...
You men are so easy preys! Just a RED or GOLD apple and BANG! Paradise gone!
(Well, I know, I know, the fruit is soooooo tempting... How to resist?

And WHY should men resist?
"Resistance is futile" ;-)
That’s the first sin! And hopefully not the last.
------------------------------------------

Just a photo from George Grabarczyk... and the TE is not the same anymore.
But what a photo!
One hell of a GOOD photo. Your marks all over it. (Even the sunglasses!)
------------------
Now, I’m giving you a well deserved smiling GREEN apple! Fresh-picked from the Garden of Eden! Where else?...
:-))))
Claire

What is this George! An unbelievable picture with or without your note.
I am just wondering if he took the apple.Great capture,I love this black foreground...for the imagine...

Wishes for a fine weekend,
Thomas

Ha, George you only WISH. Funny that men should seem so weak willed and easily led by those treacherous females, eh? I love the way the light only hits in spots in your picture and the apple is so blazingly visible. Great shot!! Have a good one,
Shelly

"Men of the world….Unite !!!"? Nice try, George! Seems like mortal existence was more tempting :-)
inna

Is that you Georges, tied(the shade, line cord)to the chair, looking with avidity to this ,,,,humm, can we say that word on TE?
Tentation.....sweet tentation......hold me someone,I could not resist....is that why you are tied to the chair.....a new kind of torture....so shiny,I want to grab it..
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

for fun a WS,B&W with a twist.

Have a good WE
Charles

bonjour Georges, too long time without your photo... pitty!
her again a beautiful composition and warm colors! thanks
soon
francine

I thought that you had given up of spending so many hours on this 'stupid' virtual world and decided to live your life in the real world. Nice to see you back, George!
And what an incredible capture. Again! That apple looks soooo tasty. I want it. I want it. Just a bite please! It's so colorful and attractive and I can already feel the juice all over inside my mouse. Hhhmmmm...
Of course we don't learn nothing! Look at the world - look at what we,ve been doing to ourselves! It's just the human condition. It's just the way we are. Just let it go!
Incredible capture!
Ricardo

The proffered apple seems to have produced a look of bemusement and slight anger on his face. He seems to be struggling with the very weighty issues that you describe. Or maybe he was just wondering if he had any room left after the large lunch he's just consumed.
Wonderful how the shining gold and red fruit leaps out from the darkness of the rest of the image.
Good to have you back George.

Cheers,
Ben

Milo Cie widziec Jurku w charakterystycznych swiatlocieniach, co mnie sie z jakiegos powodu kojarza z afrykanskim mocnym kontrastem oslepiajacego slonca i glebokiego cienia..Ciekawa scena, z racji wreczanego jablka symbliczna do bolu, co ja byc moze odroznia od wszystkich rajskich motywow i paryskich wyborow pieknosci, to wiek bohaterow.. Mocno dojrzaly.. to mi sie wydaje w tym wszystkim najbardziej urzekajace.

z pozdrowieniami, A.

he he he ... no, this will never end ... at least as long as humans live on earth

and you know why? because you want it ... because you ask for it ... because you're constantly looking for it ... because you're begging for it - every second of our earthly existence ... and we are more then happy to provide

... so, what happened? did spring finally got to you, too? come on: it's not that bad, now ... is it?

... great catch, george (love the look on his face :) - thank you for it and for the good laugh ...

have a great spring, george and a very good weekend,

dora (gone to pick some apples)

Great composition and wonderful lights and colors Giorgio, complimenti, another masterpiece from you.
Have a nice sunday
Ciao
Vinicio

"Those who have not learned history are destined to repeat it", said Edmund Burke, and I guess that's the story here! (OK, "history" isn't the right word here, for most of us, but you know what I mean, George.) Very clever, and oh so profound--I particularly like the fact she's an anonymous "everywoman." Thanks for the warning reminder! Regards, Ken.

no a zdjecie...te czarne tlo, anonimowa pokusa, symbolika...bajka.
pozdrawiam
O.

He's back! And with an apple... Very appropriate photo for the season some of us are living right now. Easter constitutes the ultimate apple offer and the ultimate sin. Apple in the form of a betrayal kiss, sin in the form of God's murder... But let me go back to the photo itself. Like the dark omnipresence. I guess this was truly a dark moment on the story of the human being, but also a moment from which many light can arise. It has a great dramatic charge, a true theatrical play. A great photograph.

He is no fool again, George! He does stare at it alright, but that decisive gesture, the one in which he extends his own arm, or be it a mouth, is absent.... only her well-manicured hand is in full spotlight, with that marvellous apple shining through the dark like in a Mediaeval altarpiece. WILL it work again? Will it not?
Beware.
And welcome back to our little group that sorely missed you, George!
ciao

Genius capture, George! Really genius...!
:)
Seems history just repeating itself, isn't it...?

Jurku, kochany...!!!

Pa. Grazyna.

Powrot z zielonymi i z pozdrowieniami z rodzinnej gleby

Hehe, right on, the composition and the note... It makes me hungry for an apple. Except I'll eat this one myself. Well, how would you men like them apples?? ;)

Tego sie mozna bylo spodziewac - byles w raju! Moze nawet byles Adamem?!
Pozdrawiam powroconego

The photo is great - interesting models, that you chose -, the note is also amusing, and all the comments, that I could not finish to read, too !
Congratulations for all that (and your thought provoking topics),
Cath.

Such a sweet thing for this nice woman to be offering this apple to the poor guy who doesn't seem able to see it - a really nicely framed compassionate image of this fine example of altruistic behaviour on a biblical scale - the Good Samaritan written large - can't quite work out why you called it the First Sin - did you really mean First In - as the first person to come along and respond positively to his obvious hunger?

Just to check here on your work on this image brother George - did you limit yourself to:

Adjustments to colour, contrast, saturation, levels and curves and sharpening
Cropping
Cloning should that was limited to general cleaning work - no significant elements of the composition removed or added.
Dodging and burning
Perspective adjustments to correct for lens distortions

That apple is looking just a little radioactive to me George!

Are we in the realms of photography or image making - it's a great image for sure but how much is straightforward photography here.....?? Do I care - not so much - would just like to know the G-process it has been through.

love your humour - makes me smile......!!

My Dear George,

You have been missing from the pages of TE, and I have wondered frequently, what other project has wrenched your interests. I am happy to see this excellent photo, sitting in place now for a week. Superb available lighting, illumnating the apple, and selectively, the two subjects. As I've frequently written about your work, there is always a deeper story, as in very good art. It is open ended, it is pyschological art!

Warm regards, my friend,

Bulent

Mannn...
Women!

Always trying to tempt us into some sort of destructive life in bondage (some are more fond of that then others, huh). For me, the apple isn't even needed...eye contact and a partial word...that's it, I'm on the ground feeling pulled along like interstellar dust towrd a gaping black hole.
A great moment, even with glasses on there is indecision in his face. I like the spy shot...the deep shadows crisscrossing their bodies, the mood here is one of forboding...atleast for me. Only technical comment would be the slight halo of color around the apple where the PP work didn't turn out completely black...I think the impact of the apple would be even greater if you could blackout right up to the edges of the shining fruit.
See ya bud,
Chris.

no i cieszę sie z twojego powrotu... duch świerzości czuwa,
pozdr. j.

Hi George,
Good to see you back with your witty humour. Your signature all over this post, reminds me what we have been missing. But will the man bite the apple, hasn't he learnt his lesson. I guess not, his lips are a giveaway:) Well seen through the bushes, just wondering what you were doing there anyway. Not eating an apple I hope:)
Best Wishes
Sabyasachi

A superb photograph, George. Was it staged? Well you didn't post it on April Fool's Day, so perhaps not. But no matter what, 'deep' is an out-of-the-ordinary word to describe a photograph, but seems to suit this one. Ken's words 'clever and profound' is a good description too. Cheers . . . David
