Acton Vale has such marvelous colours on the sky too. The fog near the ground makes the atmosphere even more beautiful. We have this gift from the Nature if we wake early in the morning. If we are lucky, we can see families of deers with small "Bambis". I will try to photograph them if I can quit TE not so late, to wake up earlier ;-)

Update:
This picture has been taken in the Spring time (of North Hemisphere, of course), in 2003. More precisely, May 31st. The photographer was my husband - he wakes up very early in the morning. I have checked his meteorologic journal, and it is written the following: "Brume le matin, beau lever du soleil."
Temperatures: MIN = + 10 and MAX = + 21 Celsius.

Maria the colours of this sunrise are beautiful. Your perspective of the colorful sky and dark ground make for a good contrast. Too bad you couldn't get deer in the picture. Maybe next time :-) A nice composition.

Ótima captura do amanhecer. As cores vibrantes do céu fazem um belo contraponto ao pequeno nevoeiro de superfície evidenciando abaixa temperatura do momento.

Oi Maria do Carmo, moody atmosphere with interesting geometric details having the horizontals against the diagonals. I'm sure that cropping the lower 1/3 would enhance the shot a lot. Try it and let me know about what you think.
