[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Many people don't believe me when I say this photo was taken in Canada. This place is called the Great Sandhills and it's located in Saskatchewan between towns of Sceptre and Leader. Highest sand dunes are about 25 metres in height and if you find a right spot, you won't see anything else than sand (remember, it's located in prairies!). These sand dunes are slowly moving towards south.

Remote location means not many people visit this magnificent place. I'm really happy that I did visit it!

Hello,

Canada from another point of view. You are right. People think itīs only cold in Canada but they donīt think about the semihumid prairies and the warm summer in Canada. In Austria itīs the same. Tourist come with big pullovers because they think we have only the Alps, and so it is cold the whole year, but it can get very hot in Austria too. this September I will visit Alberta and Saskatchewan and I will see the Great Sand Hills too.

Thanks for the picture
