[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
“Lively jewelry” is the name of this photo taken at a greenhouse at Bowring Park in St. John’s. This Owl Butterfly rested on this woman’s shoulder. She gave me permission to photograph this lovely butterfly under one condition, not to photograph her face. Quickly agreeing, I took several photos. While at the greenhouse, this was the only butterfly to land on a visitor. We were hoping one would land on my daughter so I could get a photograph of two beauties.
My daughter and I have a wonderful time and we met one of our good friends, Roberta, during our visit. It was a very warm place to have a chat, outside was -10°C and very cold.
This photograph was cropped, level adjusted, framed and saved for the web.
