Hi Ronald good shot of a really amazing sight. Good PoV too, catching the light behind the sails. Nice one.

A difficult shot to compose and expose Ron but I reckon you're spot-on with both. An excellent image and an amazing sight.

I live on a tributary of the Chesapeak Bay in Maryland and have seen a number of tall ships pass at different times. It's always somewhat of a thrill to the see the sailors at work in the riggings. Only after one has attempted a trip into that world, can the bravery and courage of such an endeavor be appreciated. I think it's a challenge on calm day. Just imagine the experience of climbing up into the rigging during high winds and rough seas.
