Photographer’s Note
This is a shot of the Hudson's Bay building at the corner of Granville and Georgia in Vancouver. It's otherwise a pretty plain building; however, at night the lighting is fantastic. Just another illustration of the importance of timing in photography.
I used the free transform action in photoshop to straighten out the converging lines that you get with building shots. I also ran a distortion filter: pinch. Finally, I sharpened the photo a touch. Thanks.

Nice effect of lines and colors. Yellow and blue are complementary, and the result here is very pleasant.
Good postprocessing work, the perspective is really perfect.

Great Shot Donald! I love Architecture shots. I know the building and your right, by day it's pretty average- but by night it comes alive!
I need to do some more studying with photoshop (Transform Action). I've used the pinch before, but don't see where or how you would have used it in this shot? Can you clue me in? Cheers, -Dan
