Photographer’s Note
The Wainfleet marsh near Lake Erie was completely transformed by the recent ice storm. When out photographing, all I could hear was the ice breaking branches and falling off the trees. Eerie echoes in a shining landscape.

Hi Linda,
Being a fan of winter images I couldn't avoid seeing this one. This is a splendid one....very artistic with the pattern of ice and reflected light. The star-like sun is also very attractive and well done in coping with the difficult conditions.Take care and TFS.
Regards, David

Hello Linda,
les lumières me plaisent.
Un contre jour délicat mais que tu as géré avec talent, créant ces jeux de lumières si difficiles à réaliser.
C'est très joli.
Best regards.
Daniel.

Ah, and you're here too. Very nice capture of the ice storm, each one I see is getting better and better. Looks like you used the trees to set up the star effect with the sun. It's a very nice effect.
Thanks, John
