Photographer’s Note
I heard that Europe, at least the ski resorts in Europe got their much needed snow. We still have none in Ontario! This path should be covered with snow, and the these grasses should be gone by now - instead it just stands there, all dried up from the summer, and still not touched by the snow...

Nice POV. You should rotate +/- 1° (or even less) to the right so that the horizon is straight. Alfred

Could no snow possibly mean less water when it melts for people to drink from? Here in Australia alot of reigons rely on the snow melt from the snowy mountians. And because we recieved very little rain and snow our water supply is deeply affected. So if you have very little snow will you still have no water issues? I hope your getting rain at least then.
Thank you it's a real eye opener to the issues affecting everywhere in the world due to climate change.

Hi Boris,
Nice shot. I like a lot the colours and the mood of your picture. The horizon does not appears leaning to me. It is really an interesting composition.
Waiting for cold... waiting for snow...

Hi Boris, A well executed photo giving us a message. I'm with Alyx on the horizon question. It doesn't seem possible to me to know which line to align the border with, perhaps the uprights on the structure at the top (which look dead vertical to me) or the trees which are similarly vertical. If you align the planks you'd tilt the verticals. Nah, better as it is. cheers, Steve

Ah! With global warming the snow may be going for ever. I like the image of the path curling into the unknown, paths are such a significant image. The watch tower structure, that the path seems to lead to, has a slightly sinister edge. I love the texture and soft warm colour of the dried grass, against the cold grays of the rest of the scene. The whole thing feels right. Regards Kevin
