The Colombia Icefield was discovered in 1898 by two Brithish mountaineers,J.Norman Collie and Hermann Wooley.Covering an area of 325 square
kilometers,the Colombia Icefield is the largest body of ice in the Rocky Mountains an the most accesible icefield south of the Arctic Circle.The core of Icefield,just above Athabasca Glacier is a large basin with an average elevation of 3000 meters.In the early years,people visited the Athabasca Glacier on horseback.Now people can enjoy the spectacular scenery from the comfort and safety of deluxe Snowcoaches.Annual snowfall on the Icefield averages over 7 meters yearly.

Thats a rather chilly view Setenay which made me reach for my cap! the composition is well crafted and the colours are amazingly blue-white with crystal clarity. I like the way you have captured it. One can feel the chill of the ice and the clear blue that paints pastel hues.
