Photographer’s Note
The Leafs against the Capitals, going in to the third were losing 3-0. Sundin gets a penalty shot and puts it in. Not even a minute later, he scores again and that is the moment captured here.
They were playing on home ice and when they were behind the crowd was fairly quiet. Once there was a stronger chance, the noise level was intense.
This was my husband and my first live game and we were lucky enough to get tickets in the fourth row for a wedding present.
Too bad there was a plexi-glass blocking a crisp image for all my photos...I did my best.
If you look, you can see the puck in the net here.
Canada loves hockey!

Interesting action shot - I think it lacks sharpness though, it could be somewhat over-compressed (112kb), maybe the lens isn't fast enough or possibly the glass between fans & ice has caused some distortion. Still, a good effort.

i don't like this photo simply because it's toronto.. LOL.. no, it's a good shot, you must have been pretty quick on the trigger to get it. i like the repetition of the players' legs on the left. interesting view. thanks..
