A slightly more original image of one of the most photographed Canadian landscapes. The exposure is good, but the appeal of the image isn't quite as high as to justify the merge of five different exposures. With other words, I would expect something more spectacular after such post-processing work. The perspective is great indeed, and the rocks in the foreground are very welcome.

Hello Doug,

Your frame is including spectacular view and colors. I like unusual color of stones and their position partially in water that creates splendid view. Reflections of forest, cliffs are wonderful. Congratulations.

Great shot Doug! I've seen a million shots of Lake Louise, but never one quite like this, so full marks for creativity and coming up with something different. I like the way the rocks are visible in the bottom of the lake too. Great work!

A nice photo of Lake Louise, of the Rocky mountains and their reflection in the water which is giving a special effect to the photo. It has a good composition, DOF and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

Another nice one from a lakeside. Good theme, I really like what you keep doing close to the water. Unfortunatly I don't have such nice waters nearby, all waters here are not clear, brown coloured, dirty and there is no nice scene to reflect on. Gotta look a bit further for such oppurtunities probably, but I won't find rocks anyway.
Lovely colours, fine sharpness, good details again inside the lake, but also on the other side. A few clouds in the sky are a nice addition. Also like the reflection.
Water has a nice appearance (colour).

Hello Doug,

This is an amazing shot of Lake Louise and a bit from a different viewpoint then the usual which I really like. The colours are stunning, the reflection in the water is something you don't see that often while having the greenish colour of the lake as well. Great composition with excellent lighting! Well done, Doug!

Hi Doug. I’ve been intending to have a play with the HDR for some time and this shot is proof that it should be sooner rather than latter. Excellent composition, I think the foreground rocks give this shot good depth. Thanks for sharing.
