Photographer’s Note

I can't but not photograph the sunrises in the morning when I see them. Each one has its own personality..:o) This one seemed so very peaceful, the wind FINALLY stoppped for awhile so I could actually go outside comfortably to try some different exposures. Which is very hard when during the process the light changes on you since the sun is getting higher and higher! ( Like you don't know that...:o)
Photo taken outside my house off the deck as I just was enjoying the moment and also happy that my husband was home for a few hours to visit ( Hes a ship Captain if you didn't read my intro) So the sun was shining for me...:o)

I just have to ask.. Do you have scandinavian ancestors? Your last name made me currious:)

Other then that it was the thumbnail of your photo that caught my eye.. And I don't regret that I opened it:) Such a lovely sunsrise well placed in the image with a interesting frame:) The Atmosphere is fantastic. Keep take your morningphotos and share 'em with us:)

This is a beautiful soft color palette ... all the gradients in of color in that sky are just wonderful .. the way the blue water sits against them makes this special.

Hi Donna, nice capture of another sunrise. I like the way you've framed it with the silohette of the trees on the left. The colour is good, with little wave action in the morning to disrupt the line of light.

Another beautiful sunrise I love the streaks thar run through this sky and the leafless tree fills the darker area nicely. You must be healtly wealthy and wise.

Hi Donna,
A wonderful image with the Sun shining in the sky, with the tones of orange color very warm and pleasant at sight. The sky looks like a water-color with the lines and the clouds that decorate it and the water of the lake is magnificent with the sheens of the Sun.
The diagonal of the terrace and the silhouettes of the trees in foreground give a great beauty to the set, which is very harmonic and which inspires tranquility.
It's a great and nice shot.

In every place of the world a sunset is beautiful but this one with the lines created on the sky, looks fabulous.
I also like the silhouetted trees and plants and the peacefull mood of the water.
