The first rays of morning sun wash over a distant valley in this view from the top of Tunnel Mountain. If you look in the opposite direction from this location, you see this view of the town of Banff, 200 m (700 feet) below.

I guess that must be the golf course down there - beautiful view, even in the winter. I liek the way you used the trees to frame this, and add a nice sense of depth. Great work!

Snow? Snow? Please, give me snow! I'm bored of the gray that is enveloping us since more than a month in my country right now. Please give me white snow! Yes, I will have to shovel, I will have a hard time to walk on a sidewalk or in the wood, but it doesn't matter. GIVE ME WHITE!
And here it is! Ken is offering me that snow that I want so much. Well, it is a bit far from home, even though it is the same country as mine (or is it? ;) ). I like a lot the blending of the new light and the long shadows. I can almost smell the damp wood and hear that peculiar "silence" that only forests can produce.
Thanks my friend for that snow! Soothing me!

Hello Ken,
A post card from Canada:) The white framing is perfect for the content and colours of the photo. Infact, I can say that there is also another, natural framing with trees and snow inside which gives a depth to the photo. The view is excellent. Thanks for sharing.
