Photographer’s Note
Another photo in the tree plantation where the sunlight shone on this single branch of leaves in this row of maples. The rest of my fall photos can be seen in my fall themes gallery. Enjoy

Hey Paul.
First, outstanding backlighting. Second, excellent DOF. The foreground branch is perfectly crisp, yet the background is nice and blurred leaving the operall impression of the colors. And what colors you have here. We are just starting to see the brilliant reds and oranges down here...but, it is so fleeting. Fantastic capture; the essence of fall. Now, we need the Great Pumpkin!
Regards,
Chris.

Hi Paul.
Nice close-up. Maybe only I could choose a different background to contrast more the leaves but, anyway, I like it.

Hi Paul,
A nice still life like compo.. the colors of fall are already there, enhanced by that good light, the BG bokeh on the other trees is superb..

Hellloooo Paul,
And another amazing fall shot! Well, I love the backlighting like that which brings the branch of coloured leaves to the foreground! Great use of light and of course the composition is very good here as well! Great work, Paul...I am really enjoying your fall series!

Hi Paul: another great colorful shot. Agree with all the previous critiques, only thing left is a little spot that looks like a scratch on the left side below the leafs in the green background.
Cheers

Hi Paul
Interesting & innovarive use of a shallow dof, with excellent fg sharpness on the colorful leaves. I also like the color contrast with the patch of oof green bottom left. Tfs!

Hello Paul -
This is a very nice image. I do like the texture, colors, and shadows of the back lit maples. The shallow depth of field forces the viewer to concentrate on the leaves and the light. IMO, the dark tree trunks and leaves to the right are weighing the image down a bit. Consider cropping the right side to a square format - what do you think? Well done! Bravo!
Thank you for sharing

Hi Paul,
A superb choice to render a close-up view of these fine leaves while still giving the viewer a larger scene with the row of trunks and foliage. The shot takes on a special vitality with the addition of the green hues of other trees in the background. A very artistic shot, well presented. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Paul.

Hello, Paul!
The canadian Autumn looks really beautiful... fantastic contrast and rich colors. I like these illuminated warm leaves on the foreground and fantastic, blurred background, looking like a watercolour painting. Nice work!
regards,
Greg
