Photographer’s Note

Saskatchewan is a province of Canada, and it is also the name of this mountain. While the province of Saskatechwan is known for being very flat and full of wheat farms, the mountain with it's name is is very high and very rugged. This was taken just before sunset, with the sun still hitting the tops of the mountains while the valley is already in shadow. This may look like it's wilderness with no one around, but at my back is the Icefields Parkway, a stretch of road from Banff to Jasper. This is one of the most spectacular drives anywhere, because it's lined with views like this for the entire 300km distance.
