Photographer’s Note
The capital of New France under the French regime (1608-1759), then the fortress-city of the english colony and capital of lower-Canada under the English regime (1763-1867), Quebec became the provincial capital at the time as the canadian Confederation in 1867.
With its architecture, its pedestrian streets and its fortifications, unique in North America, Québec City offers unequalled historical and cultural heritage.

Hi Vlad,
This is a beautiful shot, but I feel like the ferry in the foreground is distracting from the beauty of the city. How would it look just to have the city as a panorama? I tried a WS to crop off the bottom, but where I had it was well under 250 pixels, which was the minimum for uploading! Maybe you could try it on your own just to experiment with the image. I do really enjoy how the eye rolls down from the tall building on the left to the cruise ship on the right. It looks like it was a very nice day to be in Quebec!
