evening view from Rockpile path

Moraine lake is certainly one of the most interesting lakes in Banff National Park, and probably, beside Peyto and Louisa lakes, also one of the most-often photographed. Nevertheless, I could not resist to post this photo as the colour of the lake sparkling in the low evening sun is just stunning.

Before my visit, I was also a bit skeptical about the colour of the lake as seen on other photos, but yes, its colour is perfectly natural and under the right circumstances it is really like here.
