Photographer’s Note
Quickly becoming one of my favourite beaches, Wreck Beach is located on the north west corner of the University of British Columbia campus. A clothing optional beach of somewhat infamous repute around town and the occasional butt of jokes (haha) it also boasts one of the nicest ocean views in the city.
Used a polarizer to darken the sky then in post, darkened the sky further while dodging the clouds and beach to increase contrast between land, sky, and focus points.

Hi Aki,
Thanks for your photo, I love your shots of Vancouver. I particularly love your choice of b&w for this shot, the contrasts are great. Perhaps I might have flatenned out the horizon and straightened the tower (although I recognize the latter can be a pain).

i really like this picture for the bended horizon and the very nice flight of clowds which brings a stunning perspective. was the couple intended to stand there?

Hi Aki
The clouds are perfect. In my opinion, the part on the right side (next to the tower) is a little bit to dark.

Aki beautiful sky! I like the pol on the right, that is a good detail. You captured the rimples on the water very well. The B & W works well here. Well seen.
